I thought I would write a little update blog on things thus far...
1. Florence: I made a new blog to share my adventures there (florencejess.blogspot.com). I made my first post about my classes but be sure to check it often starting in the fall. Also if you want to get an e-mail when i added pictures or stories to it, please send me an e-mail. (jessgiveup@yahoo.com) and then I can send out an e-mail when I blog, which will hopefully we quite often, as it will be for my benfit as well. :)
2. for my management information systems class I had to make a website, so I thought i would share it with you, my family. http://barney.gonzaga.edu/~jminor
3. I declared an accounting major! Basically being an accontant = being a rockstar! so hopefully i can pass all my classes and do the CPA excellently.
4. I am spending my summer here in Spokane. Because of my new major, I need to get some prereqs done in the summers because the florence program doesnt offer accounting classes. so rather than get behind, im loading up on the summer school. Plus the CPA requires 150 credits and my school only requires 128 semester credits so theres 22 to make up. Im doing 10 credits this summer! Plus I just found out that I got a summer job working for the housing department on campus this summer. I get free housing plus about $8/hour. I talked to someone who did the job last year and he said its really easy and I can study for accounting while Im at "work." Anyone is welcome to come visit during the summer (or now if you wanted to is fine). But I understand that Spokane isnt a city many people want to come and visit.
